Missing my Boat!!!

I was not able to get to my boat on time this week. I miss her!!!

Backups

If you are going to live in the bay, you need a backup dinghy!

The Dinghy is "OK"...

A friend helped me bring the dinghy to Salinas and we meet with Paco Tort Sr (Dad) to check it out. After we stopped by the "Liberty" and dropped some stuff of we were off to give it a test drive. We ran the dinghy to "Callo Matias" with Paco Sr. as captian, the boat performed well. There is a boat in Callo Matias that sells "pinchos" and we had a very exotic one (shark pincho!). We had issues starting the boat again leaving the area but eventually it started. It was a great start.

 The engine is very powerful and there are two mechanical issues with the steering that are being addressed this week. It is right now outside the water on its trailer.

A diesel mechanic stopped by the boat today and got the engine running. The alternator is fine. I still have to check most of the electrical systems but so far so good!!

We are picking up the "dinghy" for the boat on Sunday.
